Dr. Jennifer Halverson

 

Dr. Halverson was raised on a hobby farm in the Comox valley before moving to Nanaimo. Jenn completed a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Victoria in 2000. Dr. Halverson completed her doctorate of veterinary medicine with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

After veterinary college, she married Jukka, in the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Dr. Halverson joined the Island Veterinary Hospital team in 2005 and has a lovely daughter, Olivia. Dr. Halverson also has five wonderful rescue cats as members of her family - Rooey, Piper, Farley, Ninja and Bailey.

Dr. Halverson has a special interest in internal medicine, endocrinology and infectious disease.
